13 Assassins (Jepang) 2010 | Streaming

During the late Edo period in Japan, an official from the region Akashi; Tosho Mamiya (Uchino) committed suicide in front of the gate named Lord Doi Roju (Hira). While doing the action, had accused the ruling Mamiya Akashi region; Naritsugu Matsudaira (Inagaki) commit crimes such as murder and rape.

Meanwhile, Matsudaira own status as the younger brother of Shogun named Ieyoshi, will hold a Roju the following year. Shogun clan who heard the incident bothered about the case and believe that the leader Akashi is a serious threat to stability and peace of the country. Lord Doi then decided to take action by sending Matsudaira murder of a samurai; Shinzaemon Shimada (Yakusho) as carrier of its mandate.

To succeed in its mission, Shimada men gather 11 people, including his own nephew; Shinrokuro Shimada (Yamada) who is very fond of gambling, alcoholic, and womanizing. Plan of the murder reached the ears of the head samurai stronghold Matsudaira; Hanbei Onigashira (Ichimura), which many years ago studied swordsmanship along with Shinrokuro, but the ideological differences between the two, cut off their friendship rope.

Shinzaemon believe that the best opportunity to finish off Matsudaira there with a surprise attack on the city Ochlai, when the target return from Edo. In the process of running these plans to the samurai-12 was met with Koyata Saga (Iseya) who later became a member of the 13 they. When the arrival of the mission launch, beyond their expectations, the opponent was already set up a samurai army of more than 200 people a bloody battle no longer can be avoided.
