Juliet’s Choice (By Hou Chi Jan)

Taiwan in the 1970s. Xiu Zhu (Vivian Hsu) is a printing worker with handicapped legs who gives up on love. Everything changes when she meets an university student, Luo Wei (Wang Bo Chieh), who requests her factory to print newspaper, where the content is critical with the views about social reform.

As Taiwan is under martial law that period the factory owner has to reject his request. In order to gain Luo Wei’s attention and possibly love, Xiu Zhu promises him to privately print the newspaper by herself, no matter how serious the consequences would be and Luo Wei reacts with a smile. Can their love begin from this?

Thirty years ago, a dancing troupe owner’s daughter Julie (Lee Chien Na) falls in love with puppeteer’s son Xiao Luo (River Huang). Julie and Xiao Luo are secretly in love and their meeting place is a mental hospital located on the hill. One day, Julie’s father finds out about their relationship and their relationship ends. Ia menjadi bahan celaah warga kampung terutama Sukri, Marwan, dan Juhi. Padahal mereka bertiga juga mempunyai masalah lemah syahwat hingga mereka ditekan oleh istri-istri mereka Lela, Jum dan Tiwi. Satu- satunya orang terdekat Japra adalah Bini (Mita The Virgin) yang mempunyai masalah krisis identitas. Dia merasa adalah lelaki yang terperangkap dalam tubuh perempuan. Tapi dalam hatinya ia diam- diam mencintai Japra.

Cerita bermula saat japra berkenalan dengan Srimpi (Dara The Virgin), seorang gadis cantik. Dan mereka pun saling jatuh cinta. Srimpi pun menjadi idola para lelaki Kampung Pasir. Hal ini tentu saja membuat berang para istri.

Namun bukan Lela namanya bila tidak mencari akal. Dengan desakan Lela, ia berhasil membujuk Japra untuk segera menikahi Srimpi. Di saat pernikahan digelar, giliran para suami mempermalukan Japra dengan membuat Srimpi sadar betapa kecilnya alat kelamin Japra. Karena malu Japra pun memilih meninggalkan kampung dan Srimpi. Bini yang mulai cemburupun memanfaatkan keadaan ini untuk membuat hubungan Srimpi dan Japra menjadi renggang.

Japra bertemu Aheng orang yang bisa merubah alat kelaminnya menjadi super duper besar. Akhirnya ia berani pulang kampung untuk merebut hati Srimpi kembali. Tetapi kepulangannya justru membawa masalah. Ia menjadi idola para istri dan ini membuat hati Srimpi menjadi cemburu.
