The Sword With No Name (2009)

Mu Myeong (Cho Seung-Woo) is a descendant of the Joseon Dynasty who met and fell in love with a woman Ja Yeong (Soo-ae) who would become Queen Myseongseong. Several years later, Ja Yeong entering the royal palace to marry Gojong. Myeong Mu still has feelings for Ja Yeong and in an effort to get closer to him became a personal body guard. 

 

Ja Yeong, is the Queen of Joseon, engaged in a power struggle with Russia and Japan are trying to colonize Korea. Furthermore, the father of King Gojong (Cheon Ho-Jin), who holds the real power in the Joseon, in cooperation with foreign states that cause Ja Yeong must bow to it and foreign diplomats. Daddy King then gave approval to the Japanese to kill Queen Je Yeong. Mu Myeong now must thwart these threats to protect the woman he loves ...
